Uncle Sam
It’s finally spring in the Hudson Valley, and that means us dragons are ready to venture out of the den and mingle! We loved the outcome of our last Hudson Valley Talent Meetup, so we’ve decided to do it all over again. This time, we’re hoping to meet others who are interested in marketing…whether you are an industry professional or a small business owner who is just starting to learn the ropes of the marketing world.

The Details:

What is this Mixer, Anyway?

With equal parts brainstorming meeting and social event, our mixer for geeks and marketers is a way for us to reach out, do a little bit of networking, and to pick your brains about the various experiences you may have had regarding business and marketing (both online and off). The Hudson Valley has a wealth of talented individuals, and we want to meet you! By “talent”, we’re not referring to your ability to play the entire 1812 Overture on the kazoo (Though if you can do this, by all means, let us know!).  Rather, we are looking for people who are interested and experienced in business marketing and social media in the Hudson Valley.

We’re looking to connect with other industry professionals and business owners in and around the Hudson Valley. We want to know what role marketing has played for you, and what your expectations are for the future. At DragonSearch, we’re all about the exchange of ideas and information, and we’ve found that a more casual setting can really facilitate the type of conversation(s) we’re looking to have.

Why Should I Attend a Marketing Mixer in the Hudson Valley?

Because we want to meet you. Honestly. We love to hear what other people have to say, and we enjoy getting “outside of the box” and bouncing ideas around with people.  We’ve made some amazing connections this way in the past, whether they be with professional contacts or more casual relationships. We’ve even met a few of our employees through talent mixers.  If you’re passionate, driven, creative, know your way around the web, and the acronyms SEO, SMM and PPC don’t just look like jumbles of letters, we want to hear from you!  If you have a business, we want to hear how you have utilized internet marketing and/or social media, and what other marketing strategies have been successful for you. It also helps to hear what hasn’t worked in the past. What are your thoughts about online branding? We want to know what your needs and expectations are from the local internet marketing industry. This is your chance to let us know what you’re all about.

Come out on April 20th…we’ll provide the refreshments.  Great coffee and conversation. Who can beat that?
